I met Imogen who is a fellow photographer on a workshop a year or so ago and we got on like a house of fire. One of the main things I remember from the day was when we were discussing branding and had to say what type of person you are.  Well everyone was coming out with fantastic words like “colourful, vibrant” quirky” arty” etc etc, I turned to Imogen and said “but I’m just normal” to which we both had a good giggle.

So yes, I am a “normal” working mum of two, who absolutely loves photography.  I can’t think of any better way to spend my working day than with a lovely family, having a coffee, chatting about parenting woes and then being able to capture them in their home.

I absolutely love lifestyle newborn shoots which take place in the home and are completely baby led, relaxed and generally involves having a cuddle on the sofa.  Gone are the days of matching clothing and heads in hands on a studio floor.

When I come to photograph you and your family, I want to capture the real emotion between you all and create memories that your little one’s will be able to look back on when they grow up.

I was over the moon when Imogen asked me to photograph her family following the arrival of their little girl Seren. We had so much fun photographing the family together; I had Jesse showing me his pro golf skills in the garden along with his creative drawings and then they had lots of cuddles with mummy and daddy on the sofa.
